What is balance operation

A

Allows you to create a copy of a stream with the same flow rates/ composition without fixing vapour fraction/temperature/ pressure . Remember when dragging this out go to parameters tab salary component mole flow . IE USED FOR HMB

Issue to model assumption of separators

A

Does not reflect real life plant conditions. If liquid in vapour phase, compressor damages. If vapour in liquid stream, pump cavitation
