Why is this a problem?
Because we are running out oil. Experts say we have only enough oil left for 40 years. The trees in places such as the Amazon rainforest are being cut down so fast that many species are going extinct.

In 1986. It was led by WWF to celebrate its 25th aniversary. It was to disscuss how their faiths could and should help to care for the environment.

A 1995 meeting to bring together religious leaders and environmental scientists
What did Christians say at the meetings?
Just because God made us in charge of creation deosn’t mean we can abuse, spoil, waste or destroy what God has made, as humans are the only tenants of God’s world. (Leviticus 25:23)
