What did the Flagellants do?
They would flog themselves as penance to God. So the plague would stop spreading.

People blamed the Jews for the plague. They thought they had poisoned the wells.

Wages increased, agricultural prices declined

It is estimated 1/3 of England’s population died (20million). A broad estimate worldwide is 80 million

What was the Charter of Maumission
It was a charter for freedom, with the king agreeing to the peasants demands.
How did Wat Tyler die
He offended the king. And was killed by the Mayor of London.
What was the effects of the peasants revolt
Short term it was a fail - people excuted
Long term- success: no more poll tax, more freedom
