  • You learn how to respect each other, which lessens the rate of violence.
  • You can learn from other religions and take ideas on how you can practise your own religion.
  • You can work with different religions and see what you have in common, to promote community cohesion.
  • It increases tolerance and understanding as people realise that everyone is entitled to their own opinion on religion
  • People will be more likely to support community cohesion, making it a safer place for everyone.
