A

24 workers at a swedish sawmill. High risk group= 14 works who had to work at a set pace, governed by the production line. Complex job.
Control group= 10 cleaners.

Levels of stress related hormones (ad and nora drenaline) in the urine were measured on work days and rest days. Records were kept of stress related illness and absenteeism. Self reports used about mood, alertness and caffeiene and nicotine consumptions.
