What were the 3 groups in geer and maisel?

A

1: given control of how long to look at images. Could press a button to terminate the image and were told a tone would precede each new image.
2: warned photos would be 60 secs apart and that they would see the picture for 35secs and a 10 sec warning tone would precede each photo.
3: told from time to time they’d see photos or hear tones but given no timings or control.

Where were the pps situated?

A

In a sound proofed room and wired up to the gsr and ecg machines. Machine was calibrated for 5 mins while the participants relaxed and a baseline measurement was taken. Instructions over intercom. Each photo had a 10 sec tone before and then shown for 35 secs. Gsr taken at onset of the tone and durint the second half of the tone and in response to pic
