Nephropathy steps to ESRD?

  1. Proteins leak through the damaged membrane.
  2. Kidneys and nephrons hypertrophy (excessive hardened growth), hyperfiltration occur early in the disease suggesting increased work on the beans.
  3. Difficult to reabsorb excessive amounts of glucose.
    Then comes the

  2. beta blockers (Lopressor, Tenormin)
