Q

Steps of inflammatory response

A

1)mast cells stimulated by damage- secrete histamine, heparin +- stimulating inflammation
2) histamine- increases blood flow and capillary permeability
Increases fluid filtered from blood and increases blood flow causing heat and redness
3)heparin- prevents clotting in immediate area off injury
4) phagocytes= attracted by chemicals
Consume debris and micro organism
5) pain- abnormal conditions in tissue stimulates pain
6) phagocytes die- filled with bacteria and need to go
7) mitosis- forms new cells and repair damage of tissue
