He did not agree with some of luthers rules, Luther believed to get into heaven you were saved by faith alone, Calvin believed that God chose who he wanted to go to heaven before they were born. This became known as predestination

He went to Geneva and controlled the city. Here he was able to teach his religious beliefs. Geneva became known as the city of God and the church was no known as the Presbyterian church

He was born in northern France. He was a follower of luther. At this time the King started to prosecute Protestants so he moved to Switzerland. While there, he wrote a book called the institutes of the Christian religion.
