What types of solids are there?
Amorphous and crystalline. Amorphous are not arranged in crystal shapes. Crystalline are crystal shaped with repeat patterns.
What is a liquid?
A substance with no definite shape but with definite volume. It has close particles that flows around others.
What are the properties of liquids?
Surface tension, a force that brings objects to the surface, viscosity, a liquids resistence to flowing and effusiveness, being readily flowing.
What is gas?
It has no definite shape or volume. It fills all available space. Particles move fast to break away from each other. Particles move in strait lines until they bounce off of something. The particles can be pushed together.
What is plasma?
Not commonly found on earth, but there are large supplies in the universe. It is high in energy. It is highly dangerous to the point where it is potentially deadly.
What are solids?
Objects with definite shap and definite volume that contains closely packed particles that move slightly (vibrations). They have strong attractions between particles, they cannot move enough to overcome this attraction.
