A

An increase of temp causes the particles to speed up causing more frequent collisions, and insures more particles have sufficient activation to react however it does not effect orientation

A

There are more frequent collisions as the particles are closer together therefore result in more collisions if they have the correct orientation.

What is the effect of catalysts on collision theory?

A

Catalysts lower the activation energy, this means that the number of particles able to react have increased. Catalysts also hold particles in place with the correct orientation so more particles react.
