What is Specific?
A
Knowing exactly what your goal is. Eg instead of improving general fitness, improving cardiovascular fitness.

What is measurable?
A
Means that it will easy to know when a goal is achieved.

What is achievable?
A
Eg running an extra 100m in the 12 min cooper run after 6 weeks training.

What is realistic?
A
A goal that is achievable in theory. eg. If you want to be stronger in two weeks time and the gym isn’t open it isn’t realistic.

What is a SMART target?
A
A target that is specific, measurable, achievable, realistic and time bound.
