What does a distance time graph show?
A
It shows the distances that an object travels in a certain time. The steepness of the line tells you the speed. The steeper the line, the faster the object. If the line is horizontal the object is stationary.

How do you work out the gradient of a line?
A
To work out the gradient of a line we divide the change in the y-axis by the change in the x-axis.
