Culture
The ways of thinking, the ways of acting, and the material objects that together form a peoples’s way of life.
Subculture
Groups of people that have their own traditions, customs and sometimes language.
Counter Culture
Oppose the culture of larger society.
Assimillation
The process by which minorities gradually adopt patterns of the dominant culture.
Pluralism
A state in which people of all races and ethnicities are distinct but have equivocal social standing.

the practice of judging a culture by its own standards.

the facts that some cultural elements change more quickly than others, disrupting a cultural system.

traits that are part of every known culture.
