Oskar Schindler (Prosecution) - Pedro Geoffroy

A

Started as a spy for the Abwehr. Some of his tasks in this organization was to collect information from Czech Republic’s military and also recruit more spies for the Nazis.

After work as spy opened the German Enamelware Factory (DEF) and became popularly known as Emalia. He hired many workers, including Jews. His connections with Abwehr prevented him from giving up his workers. However, as the war went on he had to bribe more and more officers to not take his Jewish workers away. He housed, fed, and helped hide Jews during the war.

A

A Reich youth leader in Stuttgart, Germany. Had many followers and recruited other young leaders throughout the years. He was in charge of distributing the party’s propaganda to families in my territory. He organized and distribute copies of Der Stürmer. He got Tuberculosis and was no longer able to do his tasks, and had to spend the remaining of the war hospitalized. He had no feeling towards the Jews before the war but reading the newspaper and listening to Streicher speak made him hate the Jews.

Werner Kohn (Prosecution) - Guillermo Peñate

A

Kohn is Jewish. He was expelled from University of Berlin because of this. He moved to New York in 1951 where he completed his studies was a professor at University of British Columbia.

Jews started to be sent to concentration camps and Kohn heard the mob chanting the slogans from Streicher’s speeches. His parents were arrested and he never saw them again. Kohn moved from place to place trying to hide. He was captured and sent through Poland until he got to Lodz Ghetto. After that he was sent to Auschwitz. Witnessed a lot of suffering by the Jewish population. Kohn felt ashamed because people from his nation were writing all the bad things about the Jews.

Julius Streicher (Defense)- Marcela Recinos

A

He taught in elementary school in Nuremberg during his young years. Fought in WWI and joined the Society for Defense and Protective Action where he showed his anti-semitic rhetoric” for the first time. One of the founders of the Nuremberg wing of the German Socialist Party which merged with National Socialist German Workers’ Party. Founded Der Stürmer. Hitler supported Streicher for a while but then forced him into retirement and did not let Streicher to speak publicly. Streicher then decided to photograph all Nazi concentration camps with a sense of celebration.

Joseph Goebbels (Defense)- Rafael Guirola

A

A politician and also the Minister of Propaganda in the Nazi Germany. He was Hitler’s left hand was in charge of all kinds propaganda including film censorship, art, music, and protection against counter-propaganda. Controlled all radio stations and said foreign radio stations are illegal to tune into. Joseph Goebbels helped the movement of total war. Committed suicide after the war.

Karl Holz (Defense) - Federico Rank

A

He took a job as an official in Nuremberg, and joined the German Socialist party where Streicher was chairman at them time. Streicher left the party to become a Nazi and Holz followed. Holz was appointed the rank of “Storm leader”. Holz became Streicher’s right hand man. Became editor in chief of the Der Stürmer and later ministerial adviser and helped Streicher a lot with the content of the paper. Holtz operated as as Streicher’s representative in his capacity as Gauleiter in Franconia. Holtz took control and became the overbearing official. Although Streicher was still the political official in charge of a Nazi are,Adolf Hitler appointed Holz as such in November 1944.

Herman Goring(Defense) - Gabriel Alfaro

A

Politician. Background of military in WWI. After the war, he met Adolf Hitler at a hunting campaign and became member of the NAZI party. He became member and leader of the Nazi paramilitary group the SA. He helped the party make decisions. Hitler appointed Goring as Air minister of Germany and Prime Minister of Prussia. In this position he created and fortified the German air force. Although creating an air force was in total violation of the Versailles treaty. In 1939 he was appointed as Hitler’s successor. Goring passed anti Jew economic reforms where all property was confiscated. During his trial after the war, he was the second highest Nazi leader member. Committed suicide two hours before his execution.

Ludwig Franz Gengler (Defense) - Sebastian Soler

A

Started one of the first Nazi student groups. Ludwig was an early friend of Julius Streicher. Julius and Ludwig collaborated and worked together. He spent his time writing for The Flame. Ludwig contributed to the fact that the Nazi Party was the second strongest force in Nuremberg. Ludwig was so involved that party members considered him as the director of the Nuremberg Gau. He took part the publishing of the “Handbook of the Jewish Question” by Theodor Fritsch, of which of he was the editor.
