1
Q

Problem posed by IDA

A

Q

A

Predictive Pheremone traps in block in summer/fall

Low: no prob, Mod: ground check @ snow melt (shot holes in foliage), High: Ground check or cancel

Q

MGMT at planting

A

If outbreak is active, delay planting for a year.

Will reduce a years growth bout seedlings will not be available for larvae And moths will move on.

Don’t plant dry sites, could plant moist sites or plant in fall.

Q

Damage of IDA

A

Factors for outbreak: high pop of IDA, few herbs, fresh seedlings

damage factors: more than 60% defol, terminal bud killed, moisture stress*.(caused by dry summer, dry site, poor planting)
