Q

Describe the components and functions of the ETS

A

It is composed of a substrate dehydrogenase, which receives a pair of electrons from an organic or inorganic substance. It donates the electrons to a mobile electron carrier, such as quinone.
A terminal oxidase complex receive the elctrons from quinol, while the H is transclocated outside and this process is also couple to the pumping of two H outside

Q

Dissimilitatory vs Assimilatory

A
