• serious damage to a property
• a crime is or likely to be in progress
• an offender is still at or nearby the scene
• an offender is detained and still posing a risk
• RTC involving serious injury
• RTC blocking road and is dangerous
• Evidence of a serious incident may be lost without immediate attendance/ action.

Where an incident is reported and there is a degree of importance or urgency associated with the initial police action (this includes police attendance at a location promptly) but an emergency response is not required.

• circumstances do not require an emergency or priority grade.
• no requirement to attend a scene or location quickly to preserve evidence, or to locate/ detain an offender.
• response time is not critical in appreciation of an offender, but a police presence is needed
• low level domestic abuse incident (2hour appointment slot)

• low risk crimes that are not time critical and can be dealt with FCB
• involvement of another, more appropriate agency or service
• any reports of suitable intel/ NIR
