A fabric conditioner is a substance that makes fabric softer.
General guidelines for stain removal
- act quickly before the stain sets in
- scrape or blot off as much as you can
- start with a mild treatment such as soaking in cold water
- if using a commercial stain remover, first test it on a hidden part of the garment

Freeze and scrape it off
Method of removal for perspiration, tea or coffee
Soak in warm water with biological remover

Soak in cold water immediately. If stain has set use biological detergent

Soak stained area in methylated spirits. Wash as usual

Wash in hot water. If stain remains, dab with glycerine. Wash as usual

Wash in hot water and detergent. If stain remains, dab with grease solvent e.g benzene. Wash as usual.
