Mumbai is located on the west coast of India next to the Arabian Sea. India is part of the continent of Asia. The city of Mumbai is supported by the hinterland of the mahorashta state. The capital city of India is New Delhi.

The burgess model usually represents MEDCs for example Leamington (uk). It goes in the order central business district, inner city, inner suburbs, outer suburbs and then the countryside.

What does the Hoyt’s model represent? And how does it work?

A

The Hoyt’s model usually represents LEDCs for example, Mumbai (India) in the middle there is the CBDs, then leading outwards there are industrial businesses, which run through the residential areas and cheaper housing. In-between the 2 industrial areas, there’s usually shanty towns.
