Rhyme
The repetition of consonant sounds at the end of words
Alliteration

Use of concepts/ideas that are contradictory to one another, yet, one place together they hold significant value on several levels
Tone
A writers attitude toward his or her subject. Comes from the words
Extended metaphor
A metaphor that is developed at length involve several points of comparison that all contribute to the same idea
