This occurs when a business looks to fill vacancy from its existing workforce
Give the advantages and disadvantages of Internal Recruitment?
Advantages:
Easier to assess applicants as more information is available
Less costly and quicker than external research
Employee is already familiar with organisation policy
Disadvantages:
Training will be needed
Goals may be more difficult to achieve
Fewer Applicants
What is External Recruitment?
This is when a business looks to fill a vacancy from any suitable applicant from outside the business
