What is a physical change?
A new substance isn’t made and it can be reversed
Eg. Water into ice

It creates a new substance and isn’t reversible
What is heat?
Heat is the total energy of all the molecular motion inside
What is temperature?
It the word used to describe how hot or cold something is
Describe the process of convection
It happens when particles with lots of thermal energy move and take the place of particles with less thermal energy. Thermal energy is transferred from hot places to cold places
What is radiation?
Radiation is how we can feel the heat of the sun even though it’s in space. The hotter an object is the more infrared radiation it gives off.

Celsius or Fahrenheit

The thermal energy travels through the the solid from the hot region to the cold region
