What should you do before leaving the scene?
A
Provide a SITREP to Comms.
Advise what action has been taken and what is required.

What does the officer in initial charge cover in briefing the OCI?
A
What has occurred?
What action has been taken.
What has not been done.
What needs to be done.

Action required by all initial attending officers.
A
Record all information relating to their attendance including observations, actions and alterations made to the scene.
Before ending the shift send a report to their supervisor for forwarding to the OC file.
If necessary also provide photographs, photocopy or print of the footwear.
