DeoxyriboNucleic Acid.

When was DNA first isolated?
A
During 1969by Friedrich Miescher. He discovered a microscopic substance and called in “nuclein”.

A
It’s a double helix structure - similar to a twisted ladder. The steps of the ladder are bases.
