Q

Machines vs free weights?

A
  • machine are safer (fixed range of motion), less intimidating. Don’t require a spotter; can focus on certain muscle groups; ON THE OTHER HAND, does not engage the CORE, does not allow for total body exercises.
  • weights; allow for better core, dynamic joint stabilization and proprioception, allows for multiple planes of motion BUT might be dangerous for beginners.
