Q

does a history of tetanus provide long lasting immunity against tetanus?

A

it does not, because a tetanus infection does not produce enough actual toxin to illicit an immune response. thereforl, someone who is unvaccinated and infected with tetanus mutltiple times will never be able to produce an immune response to it.
