Q

Evidences of Chemical Change

A

Evolution of gas (bubbles)[When Mg is combined with an acid]. Release of absorption of energy ( heat and light)[ when Mg is burned]. Formation of a precipitate (a solid substance that settles at the bottom when two liquids are combined)[when barium chloride BaCl2 is combined with sodium sulfate Na2SO4). Color change ( also seen during physical change.)

Q

Method of Separation 4

A

A process to separate mixtures b passing through solution or suspension or as a vapor through a medium in which components move at different rates; a process to separate mixtures and other soluble materials due to attraction of substances to a stationary and mobile phase. Chromatography

17
Q

Method of Separation 5

A

Centrifuge. Separates more dense and less dense particles in the mixture.

Method of Separation 6

A

Separatory funnel.
