Q

In interphase what normal functions is the cell doing?

A

It is doing its normal functions along with preparing to divide by creating a new nucleus (new organelles), replicating its DNA and growing larger

Q

What happens in late prophase?

A
  1. Sister chromatids pair up
  2. Centrioles move to the poles
  3. Spindle fibres attach to the centromeres
  4. Centromere holds sister chromatids together

Q

What happens in anophase?

A
  1. Sister chromatids are separated
  2. Spindle fibres do the separating.
