Manual Pump Shift steps

9 steps

1. Position one person in the driver’s seat and one person at the pump panel
2. Shift the transmission into neutral (N).
3. Set the Parking brake
4. Apply service brake by depressing and holding the brake pedal.
5. Place pump shift control in neutral. (the middle position)
6. Engage manual shift handle. (push the manual shift T-handle in towards the pump panel with steady pressure using the palm of your hand.)
7. After engagement, move the pump shift control into the pump position.
8. Shift the truck into drive.
9. You are now is pump mode. Pump shift light in cab will be on. DO NOT THROTTLE UNLESS LIGHT IS ON!
