APU fire sequence

A
  • APU EMER STOP button RED light illuminates
  • Memory item complete APU EMER STOP BUTTON PUSH IN (WHITE light illuminates and RED light extinguishes)
  • APU FIRE EXTINGUISHER button illuminates
  • In the event the memory item is NOT completed, the APU EXTINGUISHER button will illuminate after 60 seconds of having an APU fire indication

  • 3 forward smoke detectors
  • At least 2 must be in agreement in order to generate FWD CARGO warning / same as AFT CARGO
  • After smoke is detected, air circulation fan automatically turns off and the ventilation outflow valve closes
