What is onychomycosis?
When nail gets thicker, and discolored. May get scaly. Refer to a physician.
What is tinea?
Ringworm of the hand. Rings containing blisters. Refer to a physician.
What is tinea pedis?
Itchy, peeling of the skin. Blisters with colorless liquid appear. Sores between the toes. Refer to a physician.
What is paronychia/felon?
Red, swollen, and sore. As well as warm to the touch. Nail(s) can be lost. Refer to a physician.
What is onychoptosis?
The nail falls off. Refer to a physician.
What is onychia?
Inflammation of the nail matrix. Pus formation. Becomes red and swollen. Refer to a physician.
What is onychatrophia?
Nail shrinks in size, and starts to deteriorate.
What is onycholysis?
Loosening nail, first on the side, then progressing backwards. DO NOT TOUCH! Refer to a physician.
