A

Extension of the joint is when the joint is returned to an atomic position or increased the angle of the joint, which means the extensor is contracted. Triceps brachii extends to straighten arm and bicep brachii contracts to bend the arm.
They work together so that the bicep can contract while the tricep extends to its original length.
