A

Auto Save allows compatible macOS applications to automatically save changes to users’ documents. After the first time a document is saved, the user never has to think about saving changes again.

Applications that support Auto Save feature a Duplicate function in the File menu as opposed to a default Save As function.

When an older iCloud account is upgraded to use iCloud Drive, you will lose the ability to directly access documents from versions of macOS earlier than

For example, if you add an additional computer named “MyMac,” macOS will copy the Desktop folder to “Desktop - MyMac” and the Documents folder to “Documents - MyMac.”
