A

Conditioned Response : a response (similar to the original UCR) elicited by the CS after learning has occured

Q

Behaviour involved in Classical Conditioning and Operant Conditioning

A

Classical : automatic and reflex-like in response to the UCS

Operant : voluntary and controllable

Q

How does learning occur in classical and operant conditioning?

A

Classical : thru learning trials, UCR becomes associated with the CS (meaning it is now a CR)
Operant : Voluntary responses lead to reinforcers (increase behaviour) or punishers (decrease behaviour)

Q

What is the sequence in events for classical and operant conditioning?

A

Classical : CS > behaviour (CR)

Operant : Behaviour > associated consequences (ie. food comes after button is pressed)
