he made a vault and separated the water under the vault from the water about it God called the vault sky

let the water under the sky be gathered to one place and let dry ground appear

he called the dry land ground and gathered the waters and called them seas

let the land produce vegetation

he made the land produce vegetation e.g. plants with fruit and trees

let there be lights in the vault of the sky to separate night from day to serve as signs to mark days and years

he made the sun, the moon and the stars

let the water teem with living creatures and let birds fly above the earth
