A

AKA Sfursat di Valtellina of Sfursat Valtellina Sforzato is a style similar to recioto, produced from Chiavennasca grapes (90%) that are dried prior to fermentation, yielding no more than half the equivalent juice content of a freshly harvested grape. The resulting wine is aged for at least two years, is dry in character, and has a minimum 14% alcohol content.
