a process that plants carry out to produce energy
What is the word equation for Photosynthesis?
Carbon dioxide + Water = Glucose + Oxygen

respiration making cellulose- for strong plant walls Making amino acids storing as oils or fats storing as starch

a factor that is stopping the plant grow any faster

What is the limiting factor if its warm and bright?
Usually Co2
How can chlorophyll be a limiting factor?
if a plant is affected by a disease leaves can become damaged and not absorb any light
How could you setup a practical to investigate limiting factors?
Put a test tube with Canadian pond weed and water attached to a gas syringe next to a bright light
Leave the pond weed to photosynthesise for 10 minutes and record the amount of gas produced before moving the light source 10cm further away.
Repeat this at different distances

Sodium Hydrogencarbonate
