- Built on steep slopes, heavy rain from storms can cause landslides (13,000 lost homes)

Advantages of FBP

- Improved conditions = improve residents life
- Residents granted land ownership, roads were paved & new child care centres opened
- 26,000 have clean water
- Street lighting and wider streets
- Permanent electricity

Disadvantages of FBP
A
- Not enough funding to improve everyone’s
- Cost government £200 million
- New pavements caused rain to flood homes
- Rent had risen
- Employment training = unsuccessful due to lack of basic literacy skills
