Q

What is the process of rapid release?

A
  • synaptic vesicles are filled with neurotransmitter and docked in the sympathetic zone ‘primed’
  • interaction between synaptic vesicle and synaptic membrane proteins allows rapid response
  • the Ca2+ channel interacts with the protein complex
