A
Was a decade of frustration and anger for many young Americans
They wanted to rebel against everything; especially what their parents believed
Their frustration led to heavy drinking and the formation of teenage gangs- the media fuelled this rebellious attitude
Films like ‘a rebel without a cause’ and the introduction of rock and roll led the way
