What is strict equality ?
Everyone has the same amount of goods( money, resources ).
What is the definition of equality of need?
Goods should be distributed ‘from each according to his ability , to each according to his ability , to each according to his need.
What is the definition of equality of desert?
Goods should be distributed to the extent that people deserve them. Those who do the most deserve the most resources.
What is the Bibles view on disability equality?
Many of Jesus’ miracles involve him curing people who are deaf, blind or unable to walk. In modern conceptions of disability , campaigners for disability equality are not seeking pity or healing, but respect.
What is the Bibles view on gender equality?
Some biblical verses emphasise that men and women are all equal in God’s eyes. Others , however , suggest that men and women have distinct , God-given roles.
What is the Bible’s view on racial equality ?
Biblical degrees can be found which emphasise that all races are of equal values to God. It is easy to read the Parable of the Good Samaritan as a critique of racist attitudes.
