A

As the earth rotates it is day when we face the sun and night when we are on the opposite side of the earth to the sun

Why do we have a leap year?

A

The earth’s orbit takes 365 1/4 days. We use 365 days for 3 years and then in the fourth year have 366 days. This is called a leap year and the extra day is 29 February.
