48-0 and 48 is normal; 0 = max disability
- rate ability on a variety of tasks compared to their ability before the disease (eg. speech, writing, dressing, cutting food etc)

-multifactorial intervention - supervised exercise+OT+behavioral mod

- show them how performing each activity is risky and get them to modify
FOG questionnaire
3 parts
- freezer vs non freezer over the past month
- severity, frequency, duration of freezing
- impact of freezing on life
*again think about situation where you have many episodes but low fear levels
How can you elicit freezing in the clinic
RAPIDLY turn 360º on the spot from still position

- both directions as they will usually turn away from freezing direction if given a choice
What is the HiMAT used for?
TBI patients
- assessed people with high level balance and mobility problems
- have to be able to walk at least 20m unaided to do this test
- takes 5-10 mins
- looks at walking, walking backwards, hopping, walking over obstacles, walking up stairs
