Describe the “greenhouse effect”
A
Carbon dioxide from pollution builds up and warms up the planet like a greenhouse

What is a landfill and how can they be dangerous?
A
A site where rubbish may be dumped but as it breaks down it can release toxic gases which can poison the air

Explain recycling and give an example?
A
To re use items that may normally be thrown away
eg:cardboard / plastic / cans can be turned into something else

Why are trees important for the environment?
A
They clean our air by the green leaves turning carbon dioxide into oxygen
