A

o- spinous processes of T2-T5 vertebra and intervening supraspinous ligament
I- posterior surface of medial border of scapular from the root of the spine of the scapula to the inferior age
I- dorsal scapular nerve C4, C5
A- elevates and retracts and medially rotates the scapula

A

O- lower end of ligament nuchae and spinous processes of C7 and T1 vertebra
I- posterior surface of medial border of the scapula at the root of the spine of the scapula
I- dorsal scapular nerve C4, C6
