A

1- on the order of the IC
2- stage II entry control
3- only 1 main guideline along the route from the entry control point (ECP)
4- no more than 2 main guidelines in use from any ECP
5- up to a maximum of 4 branch guidelines from ‘A’ or ‘B’
6- Branch guidelines must NOT be extended
7- teams working behind must be notified if there are branch guidelines in use
8- ECO attaches guideline tally’s to the ‘D’ section of the snap hook with a split ring
