Q

What is the hazard management in Montserrat?

A

An extensive seismograph network was established around the volcano.
Earth deformation meters and tilt meters were also put in place to show any signs of the ground swelling.
PH of rainwater was monitored.
Geologists flew into the area to sample new flow deposits, measure cracks caused by the volcano swelling and check growth of the dome.
