Once the frame has been fabricated and returned, what should you check?
A
Before trial insertion:
- Do not distort when removing/replacing onto cast
- Closeness of fit to working cast
- Check frame conforms to specifications
- Adequately finished
- No sharp/rough edges
- Appropriate thickness
Trial in patient’s mouth:
- Should seat perfectly under firm pressure
- Ensure rests seat correctly
- Major connectors closely adapted to teeth
- Clasps retentive
- No components of denture interfere with opposing teeth in centric or eccentric positions

What does it mean if the frame fits the workign cast but not the patient?
A
- Impression distorted
- Master cast inaccurate
- Teeth have moved
