Shoring incorrect
A. 1st arriving Units may be forced to perform some emergency shoring using available materials on hand to safely reach trapped victims
B. Once Rescue on scene, installation of add’l shoring should generally be left to these units, supported by Squad and SSL
C. When requested by DOB or HPD, the FD will install shoring in certain instances. However, FD will never shore vacant, unoccupied, or bldgs that are going to be demolished
